Brain Injuries in Iraq
Brain injuries among soldiers continue to be a serious aspect of the Iraq war (see "Dead Men Walking" at http://www.discover.com/ for a very informative article about this type of injury). CBS' Bob Woodruff, who suffered severe brain injury while reporting from Iraq, will tell his story and the story of soldiers who have experienced brain injury, tonight in a CBS special. Perhaps Woodruff's highlighting this type of injury will bring more attention to this injury which has debilitated so many troops. More info is here:

Children Who Kill
CNN reports that:
There are more than 250,000 child soldiers fighting around the world.
Children are often brainwashed and drugged before they are forced to fight.
Their vulnerability can allow warlords to make them into coldblooded killers.
Child advocates see some signs of progress, but there's a long way to go.
