In the News: A U.S. soldier's phone accidentally dials his parents...while he is in the middle of a gun battle. His dad says, "[The soldiers] were pinned down and apparently his barrel was overheating. It's something a parent really doesn't want to hear. It's a heck of a message to get from your son in Afghanistan." [Click here for story]

PRAYING TODAY: A military Christian fellowship leader from Bangladesh emails, "I would request you to pray for the common people of Bangladesh who had been hit hard because of the spiraling price hikes of essential food items. They are in a difficult situation to cope with."

ACCTS recently sent a medical mission team to three rural villages in China. Three doctors and one paramedic from the U.S. gave medical exams, diagnoses, and medicine to patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. Look for a full report in ACCTS' June newsletter, and a photo link will be on the ACCTS website next week.
