A Message from the AMCF Vice President for North America:

"Our Helping Military Families Conference is over and from all accounts was a great success. We believe that the LORD was and is pleased with the effort made by all.

Over 300 persons including serving and retired military, serving and retired military chaplains, representatives of parachurch organizations, denominational representatives, church members and interested civilians and families of all the afore mentioned attended this first ever North American Regional Helping Military Families Conference.

Those who attended were equipped to handle many issues including praying for situations and individuals, ministering to persons who needed help in suicide prevention, PTSD relief, support to families whose members were away from home on duty, ministry to married couples, leadership in the military, ministering healing (both physical and emotional) working closer with the civilian churches to name a few. This note is to thank you for making it happen.

As a follow up to the conference we believe that the LORD has called the Security Forces of the Region to a time of prayer and fasting on Sat 12 Sept which has been designated as a Regional Day of Prayer

...I invite you and all of your friends, brethren, churches, fellowships and those under your command to join us in the day of prayer and fasting.
